Understanding Entities
Learn about entities in Fidura and how they represent individual companies
An Entity is a digital representation of a single legal entity (e.g., a private company limited by shares, a partnership) that your firm provides corporate administration services for.
The Client File Analogy
If your Organisation is the filing cabinet, an Entity is a single, comprehensive client file or binder. All information for that specific company is stored within its Entity record.
Information Stored within an Entity
Each Entity contains:
- Identity Data: Legal name, registration number, date of incorporation, legal status
- Corporate Data: Registered office history, business activities
- People Data: A complete record of its Stakeholders (directors, shareholders, etc.)
- Ownership Data: Its Share Capital structure and detailed cap table
- Historical Data: A complete Audit Trail of every change and action

An Entity belongs to an Organisation and has Stakeholders, Share Capital, and an Audit Trail.
